Overview

Universal Event Space opened in 2015 with over 85,000 square feet of space for large-scale events. With six versatile function rooms, this state-of-the-art venue has quickly become a popular choice for huge parties and celebrations, winning the Consumer Choice Award 2024 in York Region.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Universal Event Space has 6 rooms and 3 outdoor spaces for a total capacity of over 2,000 guests. This venue features a sleek contemporary design, advanced technology and outdoor terraces, ideal for grand, party-style celebrations rather than traditional luxury weddings. The largest of their indoor spaces can host up to 500 guests for a sit down reception, while the outdoor spaces can host up to 400 guests for the same.

Catering is provided by Peter and Pauls, featuring Canadian and Italian cuisines.

On-site photography locations include the modern lobby as well as their garden terrace. We recommend taking family photos elsewhere if possible.

*All pricing is based on a Saturday during the prime wedding season, you may be able to get cheaper rates during the off season and weekdays. Prices do not include extras such as additional fees, the bar or upgrades. Venue rental prices include both the ceremony and reception, prices may be lower for just the reception. Guest capacity based on a seated reception with a dance floor. Prices are current as of July 1, 2024.
