We highly recommend doing an engagement session or pre-wedding shoot for many reasons, the most important of which is to practice being comfortable in front of the camera so you will learn how to look amazing for your wedding day. You’ll receive a gorgeous set of photos that truly captures your relationship and can also be printed on the Save the Dates or Guestbooks.


We understand that not everyone is a professional model. Every one of our clients is provided a written guide and in person posing guidance including how to stand, where to put hands and how to give the camera the right expression to make you look your absolute best! How our couples look in their pictures is a distinctive element of our studio’s style and we would love to share that with you.


Although we are a photography only studio, we partner with select videographers that we have developed relationships with over the years. We have full confidence in their quality of work, please contact us for a list of referrals.


We highly recommend having a second photographer for your wedding. They will provide additional angles and captured candid moments for the wedding, especially for the important parts of the day, such as the ceremony and reception.


We individually edit every image that you will receive. However, we do not do extensive retouching. Blemishes will be retouched on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of our team. 


Retouching would include anything that requires extensive work in Photoshop such as removing entire objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of the body or objects in the scene, adding objects to a scene etc. We charge hourly for custom retouching, please contact us for a quote. 


Engagement sessions are delivered in 2-4 weeks while weddings will take approximately 1-3 months. Albums will be delivered to your doorstep within 1-2 months after the final design is approved.


Your high definition watermark free images can be used in any way that you like for your own personal use.


Absolutely! Whether you decide to add an album to your package or design one yourself, we believe that having a beautiful physical album is the best way to remember your wedding.


We would love to see your wedding published! Please contact us before the wedding for more details on how to make this happen.


Absolutely. Although we are primarily a wedding studio, we excel at all types of photography. Please contact us for a custom quote.


Yes, Ether Photography is based in Toronto but we serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. Please contact us for a custom quote. 


All travel is included within the GTA for both the engagement session and the wedding. Additional mileage will be charged at $2/KM.


Yes, we carry commercial general liability insurance.


Yes, we require a non-refundable retainer of $1000 and a signed booking proposal to reserve your day.
