So you're looking for where to take engagement photos in Toronto and the GTA? You've come to the right place.

We've explored and evaluated hundreds of locations to bring you a list of over 50 of the most romantic engagement and proposal spots to do a photoshoot in Toronto! 

Each of these locations in Toronto, the GTA and Ontario have undergone a rigorous process, backed by both extensive research on sites such as Destination Toronto and Wikipedia as well as our experience as luxury wedding photographers. 

The below list focuses exclusively on outdoor locations as we find them to be more romantic than an indoor studio. Additionally, there is a good mix of both free and paid locations in this list, with the Unique Locations section being mostly paid and everything else being mostly free. 

That being said, a lot of couples prefer to do their engagement photoshoot or proposals in Downtown Toronto as it is easily accessible, has a lot of free locations outdoors and also has the Toronto Skyline and Lake Ontario in the background.
