Overview

The Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC) offers breathtaking views of the water and boasts a rich history dating back to its founding in 1852. As one of Toronto’s premier private clubs, the RCYC is actually located on its own island. The club features an elegant island clubhouse renowned for its traditional architecture and stunning waterfront vistas and is a popular spot for destination weddings with a view.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

The Ballroom and Verandah: With its classic Victorian design, the second floor of the clubhouse, where the Ballroom and Verandah is located, features high ceilings, wooden accents, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. This space can accommodate up to 225 guests.
The East Lawn: For couples preferring an outdoor setting, the lawn area with its beautiful Willow tree and view of the city skyline is perfect for larger ceremonies.

*Please note that the RCYC is only available for weddings between the months of May to September.

The Dock: Stretching several hundred meters into the lake, the dock provides an ideal setting for photographs featuring Lake Ontario and the Toronto cityscape in the background.

Because it is located on the Toronto Islands, the RCYC is only accessible by ferry.

For those opting to drive, the RCYC offers limited parking on the mainland near the ferry terminal.

Prices do not include extras such as additional fees, the bar or upgrades. Venue rental prices include both the ceremony and reception, prices may be lower for just the reception. Guest capacity based on a seated reception with a dance floor. Prices are current as of July 1, 2024.
