Overview

Palais Royale is a banquet hall located on the shores of Lake Ontario just steps from Sunnyside Pavilion. Originally built as a boat works, it became notable as a night club in the now-defunct Sunnyside Amusement Park, hosting many prominent 'big band' jazz bands. Since the Park's demolition, the building is now used to host luxury weddings and high-end events.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

  1. Ballroom: The Ballroom’s original 30-foot barrel-vaulted ceiling and contemporary Art Deco furnishings is perfect for hosting wedding receptions of up to 350 guests.
  2. Courtyard Patio: The Courtyard Patio is connected directly to the main ballroom and features a two-tier deck overlooking Lake Ontario. This space is perfect for ceremonies, although, for couples wanting an outdoor reception, the patio can accommodate up to 150 guests with a dance floor.
  3. Red Room: Located behind the stage, the Red Room Lounge is best for intimate celebrations of up to 30 guests.
