Overview

Situated at the bustling intersection of King and Yonge in downtown Toronto, One King West Hotel, originally The Dominion Bank that was built in 1914, is a luxury four-star hotel that retains much of its early 20th-century charm. Key original features such as the vault doors and the Grand Banking Hall have been preserved, making it one of Toronto's most historic and unique wedding venues.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Grand Banking Hall: The Grand Banking Hall is the star of One King West, with its 45-foot coffered ceilings and classical Corinthian columns, can host up to 250 guests for a seated dinner. One of the key features of this space is its one-hundred-foot long bar, the only kind in all of Toronto.
Austin Gallery: The Austin Gallery’s two-story vaulted ceiling, warm diffused lighting and art deco style room is perfect for ceremonies or more intimate receptions. Guests can be seated in the main gallery or watch you exchange vows from the mezzanine floor overlooking the space below. This space can host up to 200 people for ceremonies or 120 guests for a seated reception.
King & Melinda Galleries and the Chairman’s Boardroom: Whether you prefer European cathedral windows or ornate marble fireplaces, these two rooms are both great options for smaller weddings of up to 90 guests.

Catering

One King West’s in house catering team is able to meet all custom menu requests, serving everything from Canadian to Asian cuisine.

Photo Locations

Every ceremony and reception room, with its beau-arts style and renaissance detailing, features stunning photography options. The most iconic spot, however, is the two-story steel vault, which features a monumental forty-ton door, offering couples a dramatic setting for their wedding photos.
