Overview

Just 10 minutes north of Toronto and built on over 800 acres of woodland, the Kortright Centre for Conservation's s lush greenery and sprawling forest provides a stunning natural backdrop for couples looking to celebrate their special day immersed in nature.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Forest Gallery: On the first floor of the Visitor’s Center is the Forest Gallery that can host up to 60 guests in an L shaped room. This space also features a balcony that is perfect for cocktail hour.
Main Hall: The upper floor has the Main Hall which can accommodate up to 150 guests. Wrap around windows floods this space with light.
Glass House: The Glass House is an enclosed gazebo made of glass, this space can host up to 80 guests in its outdoor garden.

Catering is provided by Peter and Pauls and features Canadian and Italian cuisine.

Photo Locations

Kortright Centre is best known for its pictures of rows of trees and its forest atmosphere. Additional spots for photography include open fields as well as the Glass House and its surrounding garden.

*All pricing is based on a Saturday during the prime wedding season, you may be able to get cheaper rates during the off season and weekdays. Prices do not include extras such as additional fees, the bar or upgrades. Venue rental prices include both the ceremony and reception, prices may be lower for just the reception. Guest capacity based on a seated reception with a dance floor. Prices are current as of July 1, 2024.
