The five-star Fairmont Royal York Hotel, built in 1929, remains one of Toronto's most luxurious hotels. For over 90 years, this iconic venue has hosted spectacular weddings and events in its halls, which still retain the elegance and charm of the 1920s.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Canadian Room: At just under 13,000 square feet, the Canadian Room is one of Toronto's largest event spaces and features hand-carved original works of art that showcase each province and territory. This room can host up to 1,260 guests.
Concert Hall: The Concert Hall was the venue for the hotel's inaugural ball on June 11, 1929. This room features a soaring coffered ceiling, a full stage and balcony, crystal chandeliers, and arched windows, accommodating up to 770 guests.
Ballroom: The Ballroom exhibits Italian influence in its colors, materials, and ceiling oil painting. Restored to its 1929 decor, it remains one of the most photographed rooms in Toronto and can host up to 440 guests.
Imperial Room: Once Toronto's most popular and elegant supper club, the Imperial Room boasts wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows and accommodates up to 390 guests.
Ontario Room: The Ontario Room features a carved trillium with wood inlay millwork and four custom-designed chandeliers resembling baskets of trilliums, hung from a domed ceiling. The focal point of the room is a 19-foot high, 8-foot wide mural, painted in the late 1950s, depicting The Toronto Purchase of 1788. This room can accommodate up to 270 guests.
