Overview

The Deer Creek Golf Club was voted the #1 Wedding Venue in Durham in 2022. This venue features several versatile event spaces on both the main and lower levels with its largest grand ballroom accommodating up to 550 guests.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

North and South Gazebos: The North Gazebo offers a whimsical secret garden ambiance, with a winding path through beautiful gardens leading to a white gazebo surrounded by mature trees, boxwood hedges, and colorful perennials. This ceremony space is available for weddings booked in the main level halls. The South Gazebo features a classic Victorian-inspired white gazebo framed by cedar trees, lush gardens, and a circular courtyard with a pond view. This ceremony space is available for weddings booked in the Westney or Coughlan Halls.
Taunton and Audley Hall: Taunton Hall, with its vaulted ceilings, recessed lighting, elegant chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, offers views of the golf course and the North gazebo, accommodating up to 160 guests. Audley Hall, is located on the North East side of the main level, has a similar setup to Taunton Hall and accommodates up to 120 guests.
Upper Ballroom: Taunton, Audley and Middle Halls together make up the Upper Ballroom located on the main level and can accommodate up to 550 guests. This space offers two large cocktail areas (both with fireplaces and bars) and access to two terraces, one on the west side and one on the east side.
Westney Hall: Westney Hall, located on the lower level of the building, accommodates up to 250 guests. The space features both modern and rustic features, with coffered ceilings, barnboard doors, grey wood floors and warmly lit chandeliers.
The Coughlan Room: The Coughlan Room is the smallest and most intimate of the event spaces, hosting up to 50 guests.

Prices do not include extras such as additional fees, the bar or upgrades. Venue rental prices include both the ceremony and reception, prices may be lower for just the reception.
