Overview

Established in 1914, the Art Gallery of Hamilton is Southern Ontario's oldest and largest art museum. An $18 million renovation in 2003 transformed it into a world-class facility known for its art collections as well as event and wedding spaces.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

The Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion: An impressive glass-enclosed pavilion that can accommodate up to 175 guests for receptions.
Jean and Ross Fischer Gallery and Lounge: This two-level, open-concept space, with curated local art exhibitions, provides an intimate setting for up to 75 guests.
Irving Zucker Sculpture Garden: The Sculpture Garden comes complete with a patio area and a collection of sculptures, great for outdoor ceremonies or cocktail hour.

Custom menus and catering are provided by the in-house Chef or preferred local partners of the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

Photo Locations

The two best photography locations are outdoors in the Sculpture Garden or indoors at the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion, which features floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

*All pricing is based on a Saturday during the prime wedding season, you may be able to get cheaper rates during the off season and weekdays. Prices do not include extras such as additional fees, the bar or upgrades. Venue rental prices include both the ceremony and reception, prices may be lower for just the reception. Guest capacity based on a seated reception with a dance floor. Prices are current as of July 1, 2024.
