Overview

Originally built in 1863 as a stone flour mill, Ancaster Mill was renovated in 1972 by the Ciancone family and reopened as a restaurant in 1979. Shortly after, it began operating as a special events venue and it has since become a highly sought-after wedding destination in the Hamilton region.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

The Miller's Chapel: Perched on the hilltop, this chapel provides the perfect ambiance to match the occasion. The grand fireplace frames the altar, while arched timber trusses and elegant light fixtures create a beautiful ceremonial setting.
The Streamside Chapel: This charming open-air chapel is set against a backdrop of vibrant greenery.
Falls Room: The Falls Room boasts a spectacular view of the waterfall, millstream and the surrounding natural landscape.
Governor's Room: The Governor’s Room is a grand ballroom, with original architectural features including stone fireplace, casement windows and soaring 12-foot ceilings.
Millview Room, 1812 Room, and Solarium: Each room provides a distinct ambiance for smaller wedding gatherings. Catering is provided in-house by Ancaster Mill and is rooted in a philosophy that celebrates the season’s local harvest. Many of its ingredients are sourced directly from the Earth to Table Farm.
